To ensure your pneumatic tools always operate flawlessly, reliably and at full power, regular and proper lubrication is essential. Pneumatic tools absolutely require proper maintenance to function correctly, as dry air and friction without lubrication quickly damage the internal mechanical parts.
How do you ensure proper lubrication?
Automatic lubrication (Recommended): Always connect the tool to a system with a filter-lubricator unit (we recommend units with micro-mist sprayers). The unit should be set to dispense approximately 2 drops of oil per minute.
Manual lubrication (if you do not have a lubrication unit): Before and after each use, apply a few drops of oil designed for pneumatic tools (e.g. SAE #10 or specialised air tool oil) to the tool’s air inlet. Then run the tool for a few seconds to ensure the oil is distributed evenly.
LUBRICATING OIL
Lubrication of internal mechanisms (Grease): Every 3 to 5 months (depending on frequency of use), inject suitable grease for impact mechanisms through the designated grease nipples.
💡 BEFORE FIRST USE: Every pneumatic tool must be oiled before its very first use, as this prevents immediate damage upon initial start-up.
🛑 WARNING: When working with an oiled tool, some excess oil may be expelled through the exhaust port. Always direct the exhaust port away from yourself, other people or sensitive objects.
