⚠️ Important warning: Start-up and correct lubrication of the pneumatic ratchet
To ensure a long service life, maximum power and smooth operation of your pneumatic ratchet, the use of a specialised lubricant is essential. Dry compressed air causes high friction, which can quickly lead to wear on the internal gears and damage to the mechanism.
Instructions for the correct lubrication of the pneumatic ratchet:
Automatic lubrication via the mains supply (Recommended): Always use the lubricant supplied with the system when operating these devices. For optimum regulation and even lubricant delivery, we recommend using the FACOM N.580 dedicated lubricant regulation filter.
Manual lubrication (if the system does not have an automatic lubricator): If you do not use an automatic lubricator in your compressed air network, you must add lubricant manually. Every 8 hours of operation, manually inject 0.5 to 1 cm³ of the designated lubricant through the unit’s inlet connection. LUBRICATING OIL
💡 MAINTENANCE TIP: Consistent lubrication before each work cycle or every 8 hours of use prevents the seals and gears from drying out and maintains your ratchet’s full tightening power. Wear and tear caused by operating the ratchet without lubricant is not covered by the warranty.
